Terms of Service
1. Content & Censorship
We believe in freedom of speech and privacy. We do not proactively monitor or censor user content. Your data is yours, and we provide the infrastructure to store it. However, you are solely responsible for the content you upload.
2. Illegal Activities
While we respect privacy, you are strictly prohibited from using our service for illegal activities, including but not limited to: distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual exploitative sexual material, malware, or terrorism-related content. Engaging in such activities will result in immediate termination of service and cooperation with law enforcement. This limitation exists regardless of encryption or anonymity guarantees.
3. Service Availability
No Uptime Guarantee: Unless you are subscribed to an Enterprise plan with a specific Service Level Agreement (SLA), we do not guarantee the availability or uptime of the service. We are not liable for any data loss or service interruption.
4. Law Enforcement & Privacy
We comply with valid and binding legal processes issued by a court of competent jurisdiction. However, because our service utilizes client-side encryption, we technically cannot view the contents of your files. If compelled by a valid court order, we will provide the metadata we possess (e.g., file existence, timestamp), but we cannot decrypt your files without your private key, which we do not store.
5. Private Uploads and Metadata
Private Upload is intended to hide user-facing file metadata, such as filename, type, and original size, by encrypting that metadata client-side. Administrators cannot view or recover that encrypted user-facing metadata without the uploader's key. However, the Service may still retain limited operational, security, account, billing, and storage metadata, such as identifiers, ownership, timestamps, quota usage, subscription status, abuse handling records, and infrastructure logs. You remain solely responsible for all content you upload, including Private Upload content.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
7. Eternal Storage
"Eternal Storage" means we will retain the data for the lifetime of the Service, subject to these Terms and compliance with applicable laws. "Eternal" refers to the storage duration intent while your subscription is active. It does not guarantee protection against catastrophic failure or Service cessation. If you cancel or downgrade your subscription, files previously covered by Eternal Storage may be permanently deleted after a grace period (e.g., 2 weeks) as they revert to a different retention policy.
8. Refund & Credit Policy
EasyOne operates on a prepaid credit-based system.
Credits
Credits are digital service credits used solely to access EasyOne services. Credits are not legal tender, do not represent real currency, and have no cash value. Credits are non-transferable and non-withdrawable.
Top-Ups
All credit top-ups are final and non-refundable. Once credits are added to an account, they cannot be reversed.
Subscription Plans
Subscription plans consume credits on a recurring basis. Cancelling a subscription will stop future credit consumption. Remaining credits will stay in your account but are non-refundable.
Usage & Allocation
Credits are considered consumed once allocated to storage, bandwidth, or service capacity, regardless of actual usage.
Expiration
Credits generally do not expire. However, credits may expire if they have been inactive for 24 months or more and we elect to invalidate them, or as required by law. Expired credits are forfeited.
Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in cases of duplicate charges, billing errors, or where required by applicable law.
